The Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC) is a national, non-profit charity that encourages active citizenship through innovative programs, collaborations and unique volunteer opportunities. Founded and co-chaired by the Rt. Hon. Adrienne Clarkson and John Ralston Saul, the ICC works to: ensure new citizens are welcomed and included as equals; create meaningful connections among all Canadians; foster a culture of engaged citizens; reframe the national conversation on inclusion, identity and citizenship; and celebrate what it means to be Canadian. Follow us on Twitter (@ICCICC).
Hosted by actor, producer and ICC Board Member, Zaib Shaikh the event featured a dynamic presentation on the current and future face of Canada from Darrell Bricker, CEO of Ipsos Public Affairs. This event is an annual opportunity to put a spotlight on the ICC’s volunteers who organize our community citizenship ceremonies. We also use it to thank our supporters and partners, and to share some of our found insight about who and where we are as a country
